EP 142: You’re A Rising Star

Hi, family. I'm Jordan Thorpe, and this is Jordan's Journey Channel where we are moving forward in life and in faith. If you're new here, welcome. If you're already subscribed to the family, welcome back. Thank you so much for tuning in. And today, family, I wanted to talk to you in regards to you are a rising star. Okay, you are a rising star. You are elevating, you are rising above your circumstances, you are rising above obstacles, you are rising above anything that is holding you back and preventing you from becoming everything that God is calling you to be. You are rising. And so in my previous video, I was talking about how in the month of July, many of you are going to experience many open doors. Okay, we are in a season where God is opening doors and allowing his children to prosper, to thrive. God is allowing them to happen because we are in a season of open doors. And many of you, because you have surrendered and came in into alignment with what God has for you, things are happening for you, not because you have it all together, not because you have all the money, but because you believe because of your faith. No matter what level you're on in life, when you are in the kingdom of God and you are trusting God, you're always going to feel like you're a little bit over your head. You're always going to feel like you're a little bit over your head because that's where faith comes in. Because each new level, your faith is being stretched. Your faith is stretched at each new level. So you can be living in an answer prayer, and now you're you're trusting God for something else. And it's like when you're on that level, there's still things that are needed to sustain that level. And so you're always going to feel like you don't have enough, but God intentionally makes it that way because we're never going to be in a place where we do not need him. It is our faith that's being tested and stretched. It is not to bring worry, it is not to bring stress, but it is to know that you were not in this thing by yourself, that you serve a God who is providing for you, who is protecting you each step of the way. You were not doing this thing alone. So don't be surprised when you get to the next level and it's like, man, I just felt like I conquered this level. But when you get to the next level, there's a whole set of other things that you have to conquer. But again, it's by your faith that you will overcome. It's the stretching of your faith that happens on each level. You believe that this is what God has for you, so you actively move towards the things God has for you, whether you know how you're going to receive them or not. And so many people are looking at you. Many people are looking at you as the blueprint. Many, many people are looking at you and seeing that you have elevated, that God has elevated you. You're on a new playing ground, you're on a you're on a new level. You you have become unreachable. There were once people who had access to you who no longer have access to you because God has elevated you. And God has separated you for a reason. Before any major elevation, there is going to be a separation, and then that is the cost. That is the price you pay for elevation. That there's going to be a separation, a separation of your old environment, a separation from family, a separation from friends. Because anyone who is not pouring into, who is not speaking life into who you are and who you are becoming has to be removed. And so many of you, you are a rising star. People can see that you have elevated, your mindset has elevated. And many of you are on a plane now where anything is possible. You literally have the freedom to do everything that God has called you to do. And God trusts you with this freedom. Not everyone can experience the freedom that comes with being in relationship with God, with being in the kingdom of God. Salvation is free, but your inheritance is separately. Salvation is free, but freedom, the freedom to be able to dwell with God and not be tied down to the systems and the mindsets of this world is separate. There are many believers who believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again, but who are mentally still in bondage, who are mentally still in Egypt. But God says you have been set free. You have been given the freedom to go all the way. You have been given the freedom to become everything that God has created you to become. So he sees that Jesus' star is rising even at birth. He understood who Jesus was and was afraid. He was disturbed. He was intimidated by Jesus' star. And so if we read in Matthew 2, it says Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem asking, Where is the newborn king of the Jews? We saw his star as it rose and we have come to worship him. King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was everyone in Jerusalem. He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law and asked, Where is the Messiah supposed to be born? In Bethlehem and Judea, they said, For this is what the prophet wrote. And you, O Bethlehem and the land of Judah, are not least among the ruling cities of Judah. For a ruler will come from you, who will be the shepherd for my people Israel. Then Herod called up for a private meeting with the wise men, and he learned from them the time when the star first appeared. Then he told them, Go to Bethlehem and search carefully for the child, and when you find him, come back and tell me so that I can go and worship him too. After this interview the wise men went their way, and the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were filled with joy. They entered the house and saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasure chest and gave him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. When it was time to leave, they returned to their own country by another route, for God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod. So many of you, people are looking at you. People see you and they see your light, they see your potential, and they know that you are about to receive everything that God has for you. People can look at you and just know that your life is favored by God. Okay. People can see you, they see your light, they see your star, they see your elevation, okay? They see, they see your come up, and many people admire your your elevation, they admire your come up, they have been watching you and they admire how gracefully you have overcome certain obstacles because it's not easy. So many of you, people are asking about you. People are inquiring about you. Your name is in rooms that your foot have never stepped into because they see you, they are watching you, they admire your authenticity, they admire how you have overcome, they admire your relationship with God, they they admire your consistency, how you keep going. Okay, so people are inquiring about you, they are asking about you, they are seeing your elevation, they are seeing that you are rising, that you have overcame many obstacles because what you have accomplished, many people are trying to do, many people want to do, but they are facing many obstacles. But because God has cleared your path and has made a path in the wilderness and has dried up the Red Sea, people are looking at you and they are admiring you, they are asking about you. They are seeing your elevation, they are seeing your star rise. Okay, many of you are a rising star. You are rising because you have rised above your circumstances, you have rised above the attacks of the enemy, you have rised above everything that has tried to stop you, and people are inquiring about you. Who is this person? Who are they? They see that you are going to get everything that your heart desires simply because you made it this far. It says King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this and was and as was everyone in Jerusalem. So King Herod was the the reigning king during the time Jesus' star was rising. So as many people are inquiring about you and watching you and admiring, there are also people who are afraid of who you are going to become. Your light also intimidates people. There are also people who are watching you trying to plot and scheme on how to stop you, but if they don't know by now you cannot be stopped, you were unstoppable because you were a child of God. So you have divine protection. So God will make a way out of no way for you because there is an assignment on your life. And when there is an assignment on your life, God's assignment must be completed in the earth. Because we have to understand it's not really about us, it's not really about us that God is protecting. It's his will that must go forth. When we as a vessel come into agreement with God's will, then we enter into divine protection because God's will must go forth in the earth. So it's not as as much as though we are just so special and that God has favorites because God is not a respecter of man. That's what it says in his word. But when you come into agreement with the will of God, there is protection, there is resources because God is a provider, he is a healer, he is a protector. So there are reinforcements when you come into alignment with the will of God. And so King Herod, who was the reigning king at the time, he's seeing the star of Jesus rise, and he is disturbed by his rising star. There are some people who are looking at you and are disturbed by you. There are some people who are looking at you and their demons are disturbed by your light. They are disturbed by your purity and authenticity because they have to cover up, because they have to protect their image, because they are not who they say they are. But that is the cost to being the light. That you are going to walk in rooms and you are going to disturb some people. You are going to pick up on eye contact. You're going to pick up on facial expressions because your discernment is so sharp. Because people are disturbed when you walk into the room. Because your light shines on the areas and their life that they have tried to cover, that they try to hide, that they are ashamed of because they haven't dealt with it. So King Herod was disturbed by the rising star of Jesus Christ. He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law and asked, Where is the Messiah supposed to be born in Bethlehem and Judea? They said, for this is what the prophet wrote. So he starts calling a meeting. He starts plotting and scheming. And he actually goes and sends people to go to the trial and come back and tell him so that he can go. So then he he's he's disturbed. He he tries to go seek information. So he tries to go and send spies. Simply because they they want to get information from you. They want to see how you do it. They want to they want to get up close, but they really have no intentions on seeing you win. They they really don't have your best interests. But immediately we see as the wise men go and they enter into the house and they see the child, they see Christ, they were warned in a dream not to go back to Herod. So God immediately stopped the plot that was against Christ. The plot and the scheme. So many of you, there are people who have tried to plot and scheme and try to stop, but you are protected. God stops it. And they're looking at you, trying to figure out why their attacks and all their schemes and all their plotting and all their talking about you, why it never affected you, why it never stopped you, why it never harmed you, because God has stopped it. Because you are a child of God. And so God is saying you are a rising star. You have the freedom to be everything that God has called you to be. You have the freedom to go all the way with whatever He has called you to do. That's all I have for now.
