EP 135: You Finally Shifted Timelines

Hi family, I'm Jordan Thorpe, and this is Jordan's Journey channel where we are moving forward in life and in faith. If you're new here, welcome. If you're already subscribed to the family, welcome back. Thank you so much for tuning in. And today, family, I wanted to talk to you in regards to there is a new leader in town. Okay, God has appointed you to lead. You are his choice. You are his choice. You are who he has chosen to lead his people out of the dark and into the light. And many of you may be finding in your circumstances that things have shifted. You are no longer facing the problems that you once were facing. You are in a season where you are moving on to what God has next for you. You're moving on to what God has next for you. The place where you were, the things that you were doing, the grace period has lifted. The grace period has lifted. God has maybe given you instruction on what you needed to be doing in that season. And you may be finding that the instruction that God previously told you, the things that He previously told you to do in that season is no longer working because you're going into a new season. God said the grace period has lifted. The grace period has lifted because you were going into a new season. You're starting a new cycle. So you are going to find that the things that you once did in your previous season is not going to work in this season. And God has been giving you instruction and strategy and download on what you need to be doing for this next season. So it's important that you're paying attention to the voice of God and you're also being still so you can listen to your next instruction. God said the mantle has been passed down. The mantle of leadership has been passed down. There is a new leader in town. Many of your processing and developing has prepared you to lead God's people out of the dark and into the light. And many of you are entering into that season. This is a whole new cycle. Many of you have broken cycles. You have broken cycles by becoming who you needed to become. You stopped doing things that no longer served you, and you have broken that cycle, and you are entering into a whole new cycle that's going to require a whole new set of habits that God has given you. In my previous video entitled, Your Stewardship Has Led You to Abundance, you are going to see an increase. And many of you are seeing increase because you are going to need it for this next season that you were walking into because your territory has expanded, your resources have increased. What God is allowing you to manage has increased. Leaders of His choice, leaders that are not taking advantage of the people, leaders that don't have their own agendas, leaders that are submitted to His will, leaders that actually been through a transformation, that actually been through some things. You're going to start seeing leaders rise up that are not going to look the part. They're not going to look like what you thought that they were going to look like, but you are going to know that they're appointed by God because they have the Holy Spirit and they're speaking the truth. And you're going to know these leaders because you're going to stick to the word of God. You're not going to recognize them if you're not in your word. These leaders are going to rise up and they're not going to look like what you thought that they were going to look like. Because they have been through some things. They've been through a lot of trials, a lot of tribulations. They've been through addiction. They've been through prostitution. They've been through bankruptcy. They've been through divorce. They've been through some things that the world has deemed them and marked them as unqualified, but God has qualified them because they've been through a real transformation and they know some things. They had a real encounter with the Holy Spirit. God is putting in position new leaders. And these leaders are not going to look like the people who you previously saw in leadership. These are going to be real people with real testimonies who had real encounters. They're not putting on a facade. They're not putting on an image, but it's going to be real and it's going to be raw, and people are going to be saved. God said there's a new leader in town. And the mantle has been passed down. And so I want to read some scripture from Jeremiah. Jeremiah 50. Okay. And Jeremiah was a prophet of God. And he spoke about Babylon, okay, in the downfall of Babylon. And in this particular passage, he's talking about the leadership. Okay. And so if we go to Jeremiah 50, verse 44, he says, I will come like a lion from the thickets of Jordan, leaping on the sheep in the pasture. I will chase Babylon from its land, and I will appoint the leader of my choice. For who is like me and who can challenge me? What ruler can oppose my will? The scripture is telling us that God will chase Babylon from its land and I will appoint the leader of my choice. And we are in a time where God is appointing leaders of his choice. Many of you who are under the sound of my voice, God has appointed you. You are God's choice. You are God's choice to lead his people out of the dark and into the light. What God is telling you to do, God has been giving you strategy, he's been giving you insight. He's been giving you divine instruction on whatever he's calling you to do. And that is what you should be implementing. That is your assignment. And God said, You are his choice because you were fully submitted to his will. You have been tested, you have been tried and true. There were many instances in your life where you could have gave up and went totally left in the opposite direction. You could have did things, you could have sold your soul, you could have selled yourself short. But you stayed on the path of righteousness and you trusted God with your journey. You trusted God with your life, even when things were not making sense, even when you were being attacked left and right. God has tried you and He has tested your heart, and now He is putting you in position. You are God's choice of leadership. These leaders that are keeping people captive, that are keeping people in the systems of Babylon are coming down. And God has chosen you to come against these systems of Babylon. And He has chosen you because you're not afraid to say what thus says the Lord. You're not afraid to have people not like you and talk about you. When it comes to the word of God, you are going to speak the truth. And so God has appointed you to step into this leadership role, to come against the systems and the leaders that are keeping people in bondage, that are manipulating the people, that are taking advantage of God's people. God said, No more. If we go to Galatians 6, Galatians 6, verse 15, this is Paul speaking. This is Paul speaking. And and the Pharisees were going back and forth about whether or not people should be circumcised. And Paul is telling them it's not about the circumcision, it's about who's really been transformed. If you're worried about what's on the outside, you're just in it for the production. And God is removing the leaders and the pastors who are in it for the production, for the image that is coming down. And he's putting people in place who were going to say what thus says the Lord, and who are surrendered to the will of God. So if we read Galatians 6, verse 15, it says, it doesn't matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation. May God's peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle. They are the new people of God. There are new people of God who are rising up, who have actually had an encounter with the Holy Spirit, who have actually been transformed. If we continue reading, it says, From now on, don't let anyone trouble me with these things. For I bear on my body the scars that I the scars that show I belong to Jesus. Okay, the people who God is appointing to be in leadership, they're gonna have scars. They're gonna have war wounds. Okay, they might have tattoos, they might have many children out of wetlock, they're gonna have scars. They're gonna have scars because they have been through real things that required real transformation to the point where it couldn't have been nothing but the Holy Spirit and the transformation of Christ for them to even be in the position that they are in coming from where they came from. They are gonna have real war wounds, they are gonna have scars. But Paul is telling us that's how you're gonna know that I belong to Christ, because you're gonna see that I've actually gone through these things, I've actually gone through these some some things, and I have the scars to prove it, but I'm here, but I'm standing before you and I'm claiming Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior over my life. These are the people that God is appointing into leadership. People who are in leadership position in their word should not be looking like the world. If you are in relationship with the Holy Spirit, there should be some convictions because there should be a transformation. The Holy Spirit will transform you where you're no longer looking like the world, but you are looking like Christ. And so there should be a distinction, there shouldn't be any confusion of who you are. And so he's putting people in position who have actually been transformed, that are not just pretending or performing or just have an image of transformation, but who have actually been transformed. Those is what the word is calling, the new people of God. There are a new people of God that are rising up and that God is putting in position of leadership, and these old leaders that have been putting keeping people in bondage and in captive are coming down. God says they're coming down. God says there's a new leader in town. Many of you are shifting, you're shifting into this new position. You're shifting into this new cycle, you're shifting into this new life, you're shifting into this new lifestyle. The grace period has ended of where you are now, the things that you were doing, the environments that you were in, the people that you were around. You wonder why you were talking to some people, all of a sudden they stop calling you, all of a sudden they stop inviting you because that's over. That was for a season. The scriptures tell us you can't bring old wine into new wineskins, and many of you are entering into where everything is going to be new. This is a clean slate. God has wiped out all of the dysfunction. He has wiped out all of the trauma. He has wiped out all of the brokenness. You are whole, you are pure. God said this is a whole new different ball game. This is a whole new level. God said everything is new. This is a whole new cycle that's going to require whole new environments, whole new people, whole new habits. God says you are his choice. You are his choice, who he has appointed into leadership. Your process and development has trained you, and you have been tried and true that you are submitted to the will of God and that you were not shaken to and fro.
