Hi, family. I'm Jordan Thorpe and this is Jordan's Journey Channel where we are moving forward in life and in faith. If you're new here, welcome. If you're already subscribed to the family, welcome back. Thank you so much for tuning in. And today, family, I wanted to talk to you in regards to you. Did it you finally saved yourself. Okay, you have saved yourself. Many of you have been going through different processes so that you can get yourself up out of your situation so that you can heal and live the life that God has ordained for you. Healing from your past gets you into alignment with the life that God has for you. Many of us have grown up in trauma. We have grown up in unpleasant circumstances, things that affected our character and development. Things that we cannot control. We can't control how we were raised, what family we were born into, but we can control how it affects us and how we choose to move on from our past. And so many of you have done the work. You have done the work. You have shown yourself, but you've never looked defeated, you never looked weary, even during the times as you were fighting certain silent battles. Because you knew you had to go through those things to get to the other side. You knew you had to fight on your own, and no one could save you so that you can overcome them and get to the other side of where God was calling you to be. And in my previous video entitled They Will Regret It, I was talking about how God is uplifting you from your oppressors. God is uplifting you from your oppressors because you finally realized that all you needed was Him. You finally realized that everything you needed was already inside of you. Because many of us have been on this journey, have been on a quest of chasing success and thinking we need to be in a certain location. And we've been doing all these things, seeking others' approval and validation, trying to get to next level or trying to reach some sort of success, worldly success and validation. And many of you have been, God has allowed you to be oppressed because you had to learn that you all you needed was Him. Society has trained us, and culture has trained us to look outside of ourselves, thinking that we need people and validation. I'm not talking about godly wisdom, godly counsel, godly advice. I'm not talking about there are seasons where God will send people in our lives to help us. But many of you were so dependent on other people and so dependent on the validation from others and chasing this success that it had you bound, it had you captive in a loophole, it had you in a cycle, because nothing would ever be enough. But God is saying you have saved yourself, you saved yourself in every way possible, you saved yourself mentally, you saved yourself physically, you saved yourself emotionally, you saved yourself financially, and so yes, because you have done the work and you have saved yourself from the traps and snares of the enemy, from the generational curses, you are graduating. God is uplifting you from your oppressors. Because people can only oppress you if God allows them to oppress you. And so there was a certain time where you went through trials and tribulations and you went through warfare because God allowed it, because God had to show you that everything you needed was inside of you. You're going to keep fighting this battle until you understand how to win it, until you understand that you always had the victory. And as I'm speaking, I'm reminded of The Wizard of Oz. If you're unfamiliar with The Wizard of Oz, it's an old musical. Many of you, I'm sure, have heard of it. And it's about Dorothy, who goes out seeking her heart's desires. And she goes and follows the yellow brick road, and she finds the Tin Men and the Scarecrow and other characters who felt like they were also missing something, and they felt like if they went to the wizard, the wizard could help them. But when they finally get to the wizard, the wizard is a fraud. And they realized that all they needed was to look inside themselves, that they had it all along. They were never lacking in anything. And the fairy godmother tells her that you had the power to go back to Kansas all along. But if I would have told you that at the beginning of the journey, you would have never believed me. So you had to go through this process. You had to go through these trials and tribulations until you realize that you had the power all along. There was no one that could have saved you. There was no one that could have told you anything. It was specifically set up for you to find out that you had the power all along and that you could save yourself. And so Dorothy says, Well, I know next time I'm looking for my heart desires, I'm not going to look any further than my own backyard. And she says, There's no place like home. And home is with yourself. Home is learning yourself and realizing that you lack nothing through Christ. And so many of you have been on a journey of seeking validation, of seeking things that you felt you were lacking. But really, the power was within you all along. And so your life has been saved. And many of you are walking into a life that reflects your path of righteousness, that reflects the decisions that you were making to choose God and choose his will every day. Your life is going to be a direct reflection of the choices that you made, the choices that you made to stay in the will of God, even when it was hard, even when it was difficult. God says you finally realized that you have everything you need, that you lack nothing. Because it's so easy to get discontent. Oh, when I move, I'll be happy. When I get married, I'll be happy. When I have more children, I'll be happy. When I make more money, I'll be happy. If we're not careful, we can always be in a place of discontentment. And God is saying, you have everything you need. If you don't have it, you don't need it. You have healed yourself. And so now your life is going to reflect the healed version of you, the whole version of you. You were not broken. You were not seeking people to make you whole. You were not seeking accomplishments to make you whole. You were not seeking love to make you whole. God, the Holy Spirit has made you whole. You are complete in Him. And so you have saved yourself. You are being uplifted from the things that kept you bound. Because you have learned. You have learned that everything that you need is within you. And so I want to read some scripture. And this is coming from Matthew, Matthew 16. Matthew 16, verse 24. And it reads, Then Jesus said to his disciples, If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? And so this is Jesus talking to his disciples, and he's saying, You must give up your own way. Many of you had to give up your own way, give up your own life, give up things that you thought you wanted, but the more you you grew closer to God, those things didn't look as appeasing as they once did when you were in the world. And so your desires have changed. And so you you no longer thirst for things or are desperate for things, how you once were. You gave up your life and your own desires to live a life that was pleasing to God. He says if you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. Many of you have gave up your life, and now your life has been saved. You fully surrender to the will of God for your life. And fully surrendered also means working on the parts of you, the unhealed parts of you, giving those unhealed parts of you to God so that He can heal you and make you whole. So many of you are being released as a whole healed version of yourself, and your life is going to reflect what God has originally intended, what God has originally ordained for you before the fall of man. Yes, it is possible to live in heaven on earth when you are in the kingdom of God. I'm not saying that things will be perfect and you won't experience pain, but you were going to live a life that's filled with joy and peace in the Holy Spirit, and you're not going to lack anything. You're not going to desire things that are not meant for you. Because you will lack nothing. You have given up your life. You when you give up your life, that means you're giving up control. Because many of us like to control every aspect of our life. Many of us like to control every outcome. And we have to be careful with being so controlling because there's a fine line between doing certain things to controlling the outcomes and witchcraft. It's a fine line. Because being fully surrendered is letting go, letting go of the outcome and trusting God that everything is working for your good, allowing things to unfold in his divine timing and not putting a time frame on every certain thing that happens or that we think should happen in our life. God says, when you lose your life, when you give up your life for my sake, you save it. And because you gave up your life, you let go of control, you let go of trying to know everything and all the outcomes, and you saved it. Because now you don't deal with anxiety, you don't deal with pressure, you don't deal with depression because everything is already worked out. You saved yourself, you saved your life. It will happen when it's supposed to happen. You will receive it when God allows you to receive it because you have surrendered control. And so you can live a life full of peace and joy. God says you have finally saved yourself, and your life is going to reflect the healed whole version of you. It's going to reflect the decisions that you have been making every day to choose righteousness, to choose God's will, your life is getting ready to reflect that. Okay.
